Liath (LEE-ah), is the Gaelic word meaning grey, or more specifically, having a colour between black and white, like ash or stone. The ambiguity and nuance is appealing.

Gaelic is a fascinating language. If you have the privilege to go to the north of Scotland, you can look out over the water and imagine it goes on forever. There are no sharp edges, just endless, unexplored possibilities.
